Goodbye Brunch

I walked over to Sam's apartment in the morning. I walked in, and Ali said "We all blacked out last night". I said "what did we do again last night?"

We went to Vamos for brunch. Unlimited margaritas.

Ali left early because she had to catch her flight to Santa Cruz. I teared up a little knowing that I wouldn't see her until next year.

We took a walk to the Highline, which is that park on 10th Ave and 18th street which is above the city. I found these dogs.

Had Ali and I never been randomly placed together freshman year, I would have never met Sam, and we would have never gone abroad to Shanghai together, and then I would have never met anyone who plays such a big role in my life now. Sometimes the most random things define us. Sometimes we plan so much in the hopes that we can define ourselves, probably out of fear that something that happens unpredictably can change everything.

Man, I'm going to be sad when I leave. I'm going to take a nap now because we all got really drunk at brunch and I need to pack.
