We talked about everything. After a month and a half of not seeing him, it was great to catch up. He made me see just how lucky I am, to have the friends that I have. We all met each other when we were completely decontextualized, devoid of who we know, or what we do. All of us were in a foreign country, and we appreciated each other just for who we were, not for any other reason. Coming back, with that in mind, I saw some of the falsities my previous friendships were based on and that made me sad. Ty told me that I was one of the first people to approach him, and because I invited him up to my room that night to have wine with everybody, he met our group of friends (he's now living with Sam and Randy). We both went there not trying to make friends, but we ended up with a group that feels like family.

Talked to Joe after for a while. Haven't spoken to him in a month and a half now.

Vidchatted with Ray. He said he once heard: "before you're 25, you think all your decisions are end all be all, but after 25 you realize that nothing you did before 25 means anything at all"
