Cherry Blossoms

The first thing most people say to me is something about my tattoo. They usually ask, 'What does it mean?'

It started out as a long story, but over the years I've compacted it to get the point across more efficiently. I'll say, 'I like cherry blossoms because they're so delicate and fragile. The tree means that in the winter, the tree will shrivel up and die, but there's always spring to look forward to when the blossoms bloom again. It's an optimistic reminder that things always get better."

It is spring.
