utensil birds: Nick in LA Partie 1

Nick came on Friday. Pardon my lack of updates, I was busy being a tour guide.

Picked him up at LAX at 10. My dad got him a hotel room at Hotel Palomar so we went there to check in and drop off his stuff. I gave him his present, here he is putting it on (it was a kitty collar with his name engraved). He gave me a beautiful custom made gold ring.

I took him back to my house, and we took my littles over to In N Out. Nick was hungry, having not eaten in 12 hours. Figured In N Out should be his first taste of the west coast.

Nick got meat in his ketchup so I couldn't eat it anymore.

Mmm.

Then we took a walk through UCLA. Nick wanted to see the art building.

Then I took him to the Getty. This is us in the tram going up to the Getty. Nick pressed the bruise on my leg and I screamed, making him look like he gave me the bruise.

Then I took him to Hollywood to see the stars. There was a truck handing out free pringles

The Church of Scientology asked me if I wanted a stress test. I said 'No thanks, I'm not stressed right now'. Then we met my fam for Korean BBQ. This is my dad making a lotta kobe beef that gave both my dad and Nick night sweats. Mom told me that Kobe Beef is from virginal cows that only drink beer and listen to music. I didn't know that.

After dinner I took Nick to Santa Monica pier. This is us on the boardwalk with Spiderman who insisted on a going rate of a $2 tip for a photograph, and that I had to get his legs in. Very pushy.
