The Chinese Say..

Momma emailed me this morning: the Chinese say "好事多磨“ it means there will be some troubles before good things happen.

That was the theme of today.

Woke up at 8:30 to go to the consulate to pick up my visa. I ended up waiting 2 hours, and was denied my visa because the bank statement I brought was a print out. I swear the lady just hated me and wanted to inconvenience me for no reason, because the last time the lady said a print out was fine. Also, none of them called me up even though people who came in after me to pick up their visas were in and out in 15 minutes. This also happened at the Chinese consulate last year, I was denied the extended stay and multi entry visa that I requested because the lady was a bitch as well.

However, I did meet someone who is also going abroad with me! I recognized him from a film class a few years ago as well as the orientation we went to a few months ago.

Had a conversation with Nikkita today. Even though last night was a disaster, I felt a lot better after we talked. A lot better than before actually. I will never take 5 tequila shots in a row ever again. But they were so peachy and delicious oh my.

There's something about waking up early that makes me want to be more productive. I dropped off my glasses to get filled, I got photos developed, I dropped off my laundry, cleaned the whole apartment. The CD drive on my computer is broken and my scanner isn't working either, but:

Pennsylvania: 1. playground, 2. picnic, 3. 7 mile bike ride to the pool, 4. playing with cat tails

Pennsylvania: 1. cat tail in my hair, 2. picnic, 3. hike, 4. dessert (chocolate strawberries and a little strawberry mousse)

Pennsylvania: lying in the grass late at night, looking at the stars, feeling like I never wanted to go back to NYC.

NYC: 1. I don't remember, was this in a secret back room of a brooklyn party? 2. a toilet we found on the street, 3. boys up to no good in bk (2 more boys in the back you can't see)

NYC: Guggenheim, audio tour of 'Haunted', chillin' in the restaurant with a really cool coke bottle
NYC: 1. Dinner in BK with Laurel, 2. Crunch 21, Ali with Mexican Wrestler

Next on the agenda: Yoga, din at Belcourt with Alessia, Sam, and Ali, then Nick comes in at 10pm!! We gonna make some jello shots.
