Today was my last day at Delicatessen. It was bittersweet. The weather was erratic, first so hot and humid, then it started pouring relentlessly. My manager bought me a drink for my last day. I had the tilly, which was vodka mixed with strawberries and pomegranate.
There was a foursquare party downstairs in the minibar/courtyard. About 80 people showed up to celebrate someone's mayorship at the restaurant. My boss thought it was stupid. Foursquare is taking over the world.
A swedish man walked in and said "What time do you get off?" I said "Why?" he said, "So I can pick you up for a drink"
Meghan stopped by for a bit.
My boss said to call her if I ever needed a job or a recommendation, which was so nice of her.
Short lived, but a good experience.
Ready ready ready ready ready to leave.
