Today I met Carla at the Techno Parade, which is a Parade that crosses all of Paris from 12pm to 5pm. We caught it while it was at St. Germain off the Odeon stop on the 10.
It was... wild to say the least
People kept grabbing me and Carla. A photographer walked up to me and asked if he could take photos of me, and snapped at least 10 of me. He asked where i was from, I said new york. He came real close to my face and said "This beauty didn't originate in the united states. what are your origins?"
carla said, man you're exotic around here. she's right, everyone keeps asking me if i'm japanese.

We went to get some coffee. I drank too much coffee. That gave me anxiety.
Then when we went to take the train, every single street was blocked by swat teams. Scary. That also gave me anxiety.
Then the train was packed and people were screaming and aggressive and drunk and on drugs. We got in a packed car and it stopped running, lights went out, we were stuck inside. People were screaming and banging on the door from inside the car. I sank into a panic attack because it was getting so hot I couldn't breathe, and the whole situation reminded me so much of my two halloweens in New York during which I witnessed someone almost get killed and other traumatic situations involving huge crowds of people drunk and on drugs. It was terrifying, I didn't want Carla to freak out but that made me panic even more. Luckily the train started running again and I got off right where an H & M was so I went shopping for a bit to distract myself. I bought a big coat and some socks. My debit card wasn't working even though she kept swiping it, even though money had just been transferred, which wasn't a good situation for me because it gave me more anxiety. I went home and walked it off. Phew. Had to skip out on dinner though and just rest on my bed for a while. Going to the afterparty for the techno parade later with Carla.
My heart is still sore from palpitating.
