No Internet

No internet still. It's been a fiasco over at the apartment.

No hot water either, because our tank is too small. Someone is coming today to change out the tank to something bigger. We have to pay 700 euros, but that's coming out of our rent. The lady sent us an email about the internet, because she claimed that the internet worked all year but when we called the company, we found that the account doesn't exist and hasn't existed for a year now. her email was like this:

"he8lso this3 isif madawme benanoit i doe not knows whati happenehd wit2h da einternetei"

she was probably on painkillers

now we can't open the account and to get it reinstalled will take 10 days. i guess we lucked out on the surface with the huge amount of space, but this situation is getting on my nerves. i had to take a freezing cold shower this morning.

speaking of this morning, i woke up at 8:30am, realizing that i passed out at 7pm the night before thinking that i was just taking a nap. 13 hours of sleep, i guess i was super tired.

yesterday at lunch i went with anne and aurelle to a vintage conseignment store. i got some shoes and a new shirt

the shirt is YSL and only 13 euros!

these shoes are cute but they gave me blisters all over the heels of my feet

i've been feeling disoriented lately, head in so many places. overwhelmed. processing. spacey.

today i headed to school by myself and made it without getting lost! a french lady stopped me to get directions, so i suppose i look like i know where i am going at least. that's good to know.

got my books for the intensive language course today. olivier is my professor! he was my professor last semester for the best french class i've ever taken, although it was the hardest class of my life i ended up with a good grade in it and learned quite a lot about french culture. had lunch with connie and iris. now i'm back at NYU waiting for class to start.

today is my mom's birthday!!! happy birthday mom
