Last night Carla came over. We had planned on going to the soiree officielle of the techno parade, but a lot of people were trying to go to a lowkey bar and wanted to coordinate something. Since the party didn't start till late, we figured we'd go meet up with friends for a drink or two and then head over to the party.
We went to Oberkampf. When we got off the subway, we ran into Andy on the platform who was in the same car as us and we didn't know.
Jeff was already at Popin. Katie came and met us, and so did Will. We went down to the lower level and danced danced danced.
Then we took the train over to Montmartre. Will and Andy and Jeff retired for the night. Carla and I walked by the afterparty, it was massive and white lights everywhere. It looked like we were ascending to heaven. I needed 20 euros to get in but didn't have any cash. We wandered for a while trying to find a bank but we gave up when we found an empty cab and jumped in to go home. I'm a bit disappointed, but whatever.
