Made a new friend on the train today. I saw her walk in and thought wow she's so pretty and she came up to me and said that she loved my glasses and wanted to know where to get some like them and we ended up talking for a while, she goes to the Sorbonne, she studies art history and fashion and cinema. Major brain melt today, 3 midterms, 4 hours of writing and a vocab quiz. By 4 I was dead. Prof Morin's cinema midterm consisted of a quote saying that film making is like preparing for battle and we had to analyze the movies we've seen based on that quote.
