The waiter kept coming over to talk to us and he said "Nice Hat" and kept coming over to play with my hat and tapped me on the head a few times. It was really awkward. Went something like this:
Him: "You are my favorite table."
Me: "Uh, why?"
Him: "You guys are so cute. I want to know everything."
Me: "What?"
Him: "I want to know everything about you! Tell me!"
Me: "Well uh.. I live close by.."
Him: "I do too. I live by the Moulin Rouge"
Me: "Oh. We're practically neighbors"
Him: "where's the party?"
Me: "What party?"
Him: "At your place"
Me: "There's no party at my place..."
Him: "Well can it just be me? For drinks sometime?"
Me: "Uhh.."
Kept coming over and before we left, he lingered at our table, and said he hoped to see me "later". Carla said, he's waiting for you to leave your number. I asked, how do you know? She said HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW.
Dinner was great. I talked with Carla about everything, our family, our classes, the movie we saw recently, theories. We got very deep and I came to understand a lot about why it is we relate to one another. Being second generation, our fathers being not so expressive. There are differences though, her parents had her when they were in their 30's while mine had me when they were in their 20's.
Lately my dreams have been so vivid and my issues from my unconscious have been direct, unobscured, and very apparent. I know what it has been troubling me, as they come out in my dreams..
Things have been blunted though, as nothing really bothers me that much anymore. My anxiety's been traded for a crippling fatigue.. I wonder which is better..
