This morning I woke up at 10 all energized and cleaned up the apartment. Then I somehow fell asleep again and woke up at 1.
It was Carla's birthday! She wanted to go to Rose Bakery, so she and Mickey came and we walked to Rose Bakery which was closed. So we walked up Rue de Martyrs towards Montmartre, and we found THE BEST vintage store I've ever been in. I bought 2 pairs of shoes and a long dress and a little jacket. The guy there gave me 2 scarves for free and said his dream is to start a shop in Shanghai. I met a cool girl there from Vancouver who asked me for my number afterwards to hang out, she's a studio art major.
Then we found Living B'Art, and we were seated in a small living room with couches and had lunch there.
The servers were so, so nice, and so patient, and sat down and explained to us what was in each plate, because I mentioned I was vegetarian, and also we didn't understand a few words so she tried to describe as best she could in french. I got a leek tarte, and we each ordered a very french drink which is water with syrup in it, I got strawberry, so did Mickey, and Carla got mint.
Then I went home and took a nap. I'm so tired from this weekend. Midterms week coming up!
