Today I came home after class and took a nap. My hair was gross. So I put some dry shampoo in it and pulled it out of the bun and it just fell like this.. I wasn't sure if this was a hairstyle (you know when your hair looks ok to you, but that's because you're used to seeing your own hair in all sorts of ways, but you're not sure if the public would agree with you?) I asked Liz and she said it looked like I spent time doing it.

Brunch at Rose Bakery with Nassim!
Tonight.....Nicholl and I headed over to Chalet des Iles for Brittan's bday. We left on time, at around 8:20. We took the train and got off where the directions on the website told us. We walked for a while, but couldn't find it. Instead we found a carnival in the middle of a freeway. We chilled in the middle of the intersection for a while, lost.

Iris found us. And we were so lost so we just called everyone (no one picked up) and danced in front of the bumper cars and walked.

We walked until it turned into a desolate dirt path. It got extremely creepy so we took a cab which took 2 mins, literally, it was a 2.50 euro cabride but there's a rule where the minimum is 6 dollars so we had to pay that much.

When we got there it was 9:30, we were an hour late. We were supposed to get there before 9 to take the boat across the river to the restaurant. We didn't know what to do! We hiked down the stairs to the dock and there was no boat! Then out of nowhere we saw the boat move.
Coming to save us
Salvation, finally

We made it to the restaurant and everyone was finishing up their main course! And some people who didn't RSVP to dinner came anyway so they took our seats. We had to sit at a table next to our table! Haha

Birthday girl!

Everybody was having birthdays there. There were at least 5 that we witnessed.

Home. My throat hurts so bad. I think I'm getting sicker... Shoot.
We were SO EXCITED. We thought we were gonna have to turn around and go home.
